Hello there!
The Parelli Attitude is a combination of Positive, Progressive, and Natural - Parelli and I are both being PROGRESSIVE - the Daily Parelli blog has been absorbed into ShareParelli.com - which I encourage you to visit! Click on the button >>> right over there.
Meanwhile, I've also chosen to continue writing my personal inspirations due to many many requests from subscribers. So I'm going to give it a try.
This blog IS NOT sponsored or supported by Parelli Natural Horsemanship any longer. It's my own personal blog now.
But if you liked the old blog, you might like the new blog.
You can still subscribe and have my posts come directly to your e-mail or you can visit the blogsite whenever you like - to catch up, hear the latest and get inspired!
I still encourage you to spend time with your horses, and will still keep my posts SHORT! My plan is that you can read it, watch it or listen to it in Under One Minute every day.
Matter of fact, why don't you push away from the computer right now and get out there with your horse? Spend 15 minutes minimum in undemanding time with your equine partner - let him know that you're definitely not "All work and No play"!

Hi , Please can anyone tell me how to watch my parelli DVDs on an Ipad? - Mary
RESPONSE FROM BLOG: While I'm no tech expert, my son is and his advice to me about pretty much ANYTHING is: "Search YouTube." Which I did and here's one video (of several) that shows how it can be done. There are also DVD converters that you can purchase. Not having an iPad myself, that's the best I can do.

I was so sad to read about Ray Hunt. He was the first one I saw who got me hooked on this type of horse/human relationships. The world has lost a great treasure.

HOW DO YOU GET THE TONY ROBBINS VIDO TO PLAY
RESPONSE FROM BLOG: It should play fine directly from the blog website, but has been giving some people fits in the e-mail. You can also go to the TED website - TED.com - here's a direct link to Tony Robbins - http://tr.im/hdGX

Thanks for the blog, I need help... I recently purchased a 4 yr old QH Gelding. He enjoys being work and has done well with the 7 games.(so far) The problem is the Ferrier. A wonderful person, quiet with the horses and would never hurt a horse. When he does my horse's back feet all my horse wants to do is kick him, and it's not a little kick. at this point the ferrier wants to use drugs to calm him down. I don't want the ferrier to get hurt. I think my horse is scared, like maybe another ferrier hurt him at some point of his short life. Thank goodness my ferrier is a nice person. What can I do to help my horse through this problem? Any ideas would be very much appreciated. I just don't want anyone hurt. Thank you so much for the parelli program I can't express how much you have changed life with horses!
RESPONSE FROM BLOG: This happy little blog cannot answer specific horsemanship questions. HOWEVER, Check out the March 6th e-News on the Savvy Club website for a great answer from Linda about a horse/vet relationship. Another option is to write an e-mail to membersupport@parelli.com. And focus on Friendly game exercises in the meantime.

My trip down to the ISC for the Truth 3/4 started out as a nightmare. I layed over on Friday night in Charlotte, N. C. from Virginia on my way down to Ocala. Sat. morning I awake excited to be on my way driving so that I could get to Florida during the daylight hours. When I walked out to my truck - the driver window was smashed out and 1/2 of my cloths where stolen and my Blue Parelli backpack with my DVD play - Patterns DVD - and Digital Camera. My heart was broken. I could not continue on to Florida without a drivers window and all my Patterns DVDs where stolen.
Postive and Progressive Thinking lead me to a Chevy Dealership who was able to replace my window so I was able to continue on to Ocala for my Turth 3/4. Monday afternoon I checked my voice mail and the police had caught the thefts and recovered by Parelli backpack with all my Patterns - Digitial Camera and DVD Player.
Moral of the story: don't every stop thinking Positive and Progressive thoughts. Where there is a will - there is way. Thank you Pat and Linda for continually sending this message. Lynn - L2
RESPONSE FROM BLOG - Lynn, THANK YOU for this message - just what we all need to remember. Even Shakespeare knew that "There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so!" Keep thinking Positive!

I only watch the Savvy Club DVDs when I am on my treadmill! I exercise for 45 minutes at a time and that is when I tell myself I am allowed to watch the DVDs. Since I exercise about 4 times a week, I can get through a whole DVD in one week! This gives me time to go back and watch some of my other Parelli DVDs, too, during the other weeks I exercise!

hello all-just wanted to take this opportunity to thank my teachers for changing my life, and conitinuing to make me want to become the best horsewoman i can be and also,,,(to Linda and Steph Burns) for making me recently up my game and want to be the best learner i can be.
I had a break during recent changes whilst i adjusted and adapted. I came back and didnt run from fear regarding the changes, i embraced them and allowed it to yet again alter/or at least prepare me to alter my learning frame of mind/apoproach.
Pat and Linda - you are teaching waaaay more than some will ever realise and i just wanted to thank you; for what you have given and continue to give - teaching/causing others to learn takes emotion/energy and passion from you and i, like many others are with you ll the way. Special thanks for your methods reaching out to peeps like me, i have severe OCD and therefore, learning in its own right is a challenge x
enough warbling and big ups!
Thankyou (sincerely, tho i guess youve realised that by now)

noticed after each day at the TN Celebration that so many people were taking turns merging traffic together. Very thoughtful, not sure if this was because we were in the south or because we all had a new attitude.

I have a question about saddling. I have recently been researching the natural way to saddle and I have been doing a lot of the research on the Savvy Club site. I personally have a petite Arabian who does not have much muscle on his top line. I ride him in a cutback saddle or a barrel saddle. Does anyone know if the cutback saddles are as bad for saddling problems as other english saddles? I can't find any information on this through Parelli. It has a steel tree but doesn't seem as tight around the shoulders as hunt type saddles. If anyone knows how to answer this question please please let me know!
RESPONSE FROM BLOG: I wrote you directly. hi!

I have been watching various auditions on u-tube and I'm so impressed by both horses and humans. I just finished watching Dotti and Rebecca at Liberty and they brought tears to my eyes, what a wonderful relationship. Cangratulations to everyone , all of you are an inspiration to the rest of us.
I hope I don't become addicted to this, I need to get some sleep so I can be ready to play with my horse tomorrow.

Tori by Lincoln Ne, I am in Columbus NE about 1hour northwest of you. In the Savvy Club and doing Parelli since 1995.

I admit it, I'm total Parelli. Savvy club, equipment, all knowledge materials, clinics, tour stops and plans for 2010 at Pagosa....some people think I'm nuts. But then you have those horse-man-ship moments and it all comes into sharp focus.
After a lovely ride, I was returning to the trailer, and my horse bagan moving faster and faster. Suddenly my LBI "mosie-a-holic" was trailer sweet! Struggling with my horse and this new problem and then it hit me...It's not about the trailer, but it is about my thoughts becoming energy and my horse-partner responding. In my mind, I was back at the trailer and driving home to dinner and a hot shower.
My horse partner was just helping me realize my thoughts and hurrying me back to the trailer. I stopped thinking about getting back, and lived in the moment. My horse slowed back into a relaxed walk. Now that's a connection.
Thank you Pat & Linda: for this wonderful journey.

I have been training Parelli methods for 8 years. I first began studying with Karen Shaw, then went on to seminars, videos, dvds, books Etc. I have had a great deal of success in my business - very happy clients and usually very happy horses. I have a question I hope you can answer for me.
RESPONSE FROM BLOG: I have edited your question and forwarded it to membersupport@parelli.com, which is the First Best Place to go for an answer.
But if you would like a more immediate, personal reply, contact one of our Certified Parelli Professionals. This is such a specific issue, you need a very specific answer that this happy little blog is not qualified to provide. This IS something you can fix with Parelli, I know that!

RESPONSE FROM BLOG: Sherry, I have edited your comment because this is not the appropriate venue for it. What I HAVE done is send your comment directly to Pat & Linda so that one of them can respond to you personally. You have some very important questions and thoughts that need attention.
To EVERYONE - this is a happy little blog. If you have comments that are on-topic, I'm happy to post them. If you have specific issues that are best answered somewhere else, I will take your comments there myself to get you the best possible answer. I support the Attitude of Positive, Progressive and Natural.

For Adrianna (2/12) who loves horses but doesn't have access.... I work at a non-profit Christian Horse Camp and we ALWAYS have need for volunteers. Check out local horse camps, or facilities listed in your area for organizations like CHA or NARHA and give them a call. You may be surprised how many of us are practicing Parelli.
Good luck.
RESPONSE FROM BLOG: I edited your e-mail address and sent it directly to Adrianna for you. Thought you might like that better that putting it out all over. Thank you on behalf of Adrianna for your generous offer to advise.

Hi I am new to the savvy club and the blog. I am looking for someone who is doing Parelli near Lincoln, NE. Please send me an e-mail if you know of someone I can Parelli with or ask questions who is nearby.
RESPONSE FROM BLOG: I edited out your personal e-mail as this is a public site, not a closed site like the Savvy Club. HOWEVER, if anyone would like to help Tori out - write a comment and I can connect you to her.

Hey everyone
so i have officialy been a member of the savvy club for a month now but have always looked to the parelli teachings since i first got my hands on a few videos to help me with building relationships with all of the horses that come through the farm but i really want to step it up and start training to become a certified parelli instructor what is the best way for me to go about this??
thanks so much
Keltie
RESPONSE FROM BLOG: Joining the Savvy Club was the Right First Step! Next, you will want to put all of your energy into getting your Level 4 - you can use the home study program materials (Success Series, Patterns, Liberty & Horse Behaviour, Pat's book "Natural Horsemanship"). To SPEED your progress, you can work with Certified Parelli Instructors or come to one of the Parelli Schools in Colorado or Florida. Once you've completed those steps, you'll know how to find out everything else required to become a Parelli Professional! Go for it!

RESPONSE FROM BLOG: Sheryl, look directly to the RIGHT of PAT's HAT - there's a "SUBSCRIBE" block. Be a Puzzle-Solver!

Wouldn't it be more logical to display the articles on the "Home" page and not get to a welcome message?
You could also remind that people can not only subscribe via email, they can also add the RSS feed. An explicit RSS Button would be a good idea.
Response From Blog: We want to Welcome NEW People every day and the Welcome page is a path for them. Still working on the RSS feed issue. Work-in-progress. Hang in there with me. Great Thinking, thank you!

I'm fairly new to "blogging", but I'm certainly glad Parelli got one running like the rest of yall. I'm from Northeastern Ohio and it's cold & covered in snow, so the horses are on a hay and topper sweet feed only, they recently have been stretching their necks like there's something in the back of their throats and are eating their poop.... Any suggestions? What steps should I be taking to rid of this behavior?
Posted by: Cowboy Gianni | January 26, 2009 at 03:44 PM
My daily dose of Parelli, just what the doctor ordered!!! I usually
self administer, but this makes it even easier...Thanks!!!
Posted by: Anne Cistoldi | January 26, 2009 at 11:37 AM
Norma, this is fantastic !!! What a perfect connection , especially during the times of the year its hard to play or be outdoors at all with the horses because of the cold. This is such a wonderful way to chat with like minds and stay motivated. Thanks so much for this.....................
